I just had to play Tab Hunter’s “Young Love”…..made some good movies and was a huge hearthtrob but “singing”…I’m not sure however Warner Bros Pictures started a hugely successful record label based on the the experience they had selling this single when he was a contract player with studio……more than happy to be gracious about his singing for the musical legacy that is Warner Music……love the energy of the Chordettes and again the voices had a great song to sing…………….”its all about the music”…………..music and lyrics are the base and then the inspiration of a vocal to complement the song………..for my money Tony (B) choosing to duet with Lady Gaga on “The Lady Is A Tramp” originally released in ’37 proves my point I think!!!Inspired decision,great performance but what a song to have to sing in 2011………..enjoy your music whatever the genre……….more next week.
