Africulture 2015

On Saturday March the 14th the biggest event about African culture in Sydney will be taking place. What an amazing, fun, festive and exciting day they bring you every year, to spread African Food, Culture, Music, Dancing, Drums and more. The Africulture Festival is held in Auburn Park, Auburn and entry is free.

Here are some examples of activities you can take part in:

Kilimanjaro Stage – The main stage is filled with excellent performances including artists, dancers, drummers and unique African performances. Plus the Fashion Show that involves you to get up on stage and show off your African Fashion wear.

Nile Food Court – African Cuisine at its best from all walks of the AfricanOz community in Australia, with 14 providers.

Kanu Sports Zone – With the African Nations’ teams participating in the one day soccer tournament, this is another great activity that you can enjoy as a family. (Check out the new MONEYGRAM Photobooth with exciting shots from some of the teams.)

Watoto’s Corner – (Kids Zone) Bring your kids and let them enjoy an array of activities including face painting, African drums and dancing lessons plus kids playground.

African Market Place – Over 45 commercial and information stalls selling African products such as clothing, fabrics, home wares and accessories.
