All Stops to Retro Station – on Armchair Traveller!

Sydney Antique Centre

Armchair Traveller goes vintage… Wednesday 6pm – 6.30pm, July 20, 2011.

One of Australia’s oldest and largest antique centres is Surry Hill’s own Sydney Antique Centre.

The pristine warehouse is home to antique furniture, homewares, jewellery and collectables that truly seduce decorators, treasure hunters and tourists alike.

With an in-store cafe and exhibition space – it’s more like a gallery – so you feel delightfully decedent when you are allowed to pick up goods and even try clothes on.

And, if Retro Station were a stop at the Sydney Antique Centre, you would want to get off there.

Located within the Sydney Antique Centre, this store is a bubble of beauty – not just for the clothes and vintage goods on offer, but because it’s the second home to Bernice and Jo, two passionate traders with vintage soul.

It’s clear, through meeting with these fine ladies, vintage is for all.
