Metro Screen has a long track record of working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who are just starting out on their screen careers, including:

Wayne Blair – The Sapphires (Director) Redfern Now (Director and Actor). Wayne made his first two short films Fade 2 Black and Jublj with us.

Elizabeth Goie Wymarra – Elizabeth’s first short film The Biggest Port was screened at the Message Sticks Festival and her second production Woollo screened on ABC TV.

John Bell – Writer and co-producer of Gods of Wheat St  and writer Redfern Now (ABC TV) made his first short film Justice for One with us.

Adrian Wills  – Writer and Director credits include Redferm Now, Boxing for Palm Island, Gods of Wheat Street and Rush. Adrian made his first two short films Angel and Dare 2 Dream with us.
