Armchair Traveller – October Edition
The Armchair Traveller team has been busy, working hard all year so you can travel mind, body and spirit – and whilst we love our city of Sydney, we are dreaming of the Maldives – but can’t quite get there yet… so instead…
From 6pm til 6.30pm on this 26th day of October Armchair Traveller will be joined by the young, up-and-coming actor Harry Cook who was involved in the filming of this in the beautiful tropics of the Maldives.
His new film Caught Inside debuted recently.
The Aussie thriller is being hailed as the next Cape Fear. It was filmed over five weeks in the Maldives.
Harry chats with Meagan Fitton about this beautiful destination and his time there.
Also in this months edition of Armchair Traveller with Meagan Fitton, we will looking at the ancient Chinese practice of acupuncture.
Ray Ford runs a community clinic in Sydney’s East – he’s passionate about the benefits of East Asian medicine and will be speaking about how this science has travelled through the regions to join us in the West.
As well as already offering low community rates – Ray is going to be giving away some sessions to our listeners – so join us for details.

Sydney was so excited to have burlesque hottie Sarina Del Fuego back in the city it went “Boom Boom Boom!” Sarina has been in Europe for the last few months but returned to entertain us for Freddy’s Boom Boom Boom.

We were also thrilled by Gorelesque 3, as this nationally touring production vomited its talent (and more) all over Armchair Traveller and the Australian Burlesque Calendar. See the images here.
****Coming Up in November*****
Armchair Traveller explores Windsor – where a Miss Pinup NSW will be crowned. It’s the second year running of Miss Pinup Australia – and it’s fast becoming a phenomenon, thanks to the enduring commitment and passion of its creatrix; Pixie Roberts of Boogie Bop Dames.
Veronica Bloom is competing – she will be back stage and front stage gathering the excitement for us.
Of course, the delightful Dusk from AusBurlCal will be the ultimate camninja, capturing this national, ever growing tourism event.
