Arrgh, it be annual “Talk Like a Pirate Day”

Ahoy, ye scurvy knaves, it be international talk like a pirate day, today. So put on those eye patches, rustle up a parrot from somewhere, and greet the world with a great big “Aarrrgh, me hearties!”

And don’t forget piracy is for all – the most wildly successful pirate in history was Madame Ching Shih, whose pirate army defeated Chinese, British and Dutch fleets along the Chinese coast in the early 19th century. You can read her extraordinary history HERE.
