Established by the Blake Society in 1951, the Blake Prize challenges artists and poets to investigate ideas and issues surrounding spiritual thought and religion in contemporary society.

Jane Raffan interviews the Reverend Dr Rod Pattendon, current chairman and longtime member of the Blake Society about the Society’s philosophies and the various prizes awarded: the Blake Prize for art, for Poetry, and for Human Justice.
