Ed Lippmann joins me in the studio at about 10:40 am for Episode 3 of our current series of Sydney By Design, focusing on Barangaroo.

At 11:00 am Gregor Salmon (pictured) joins me. Gregor is the author of the recently published Navy Divers, a history of these truly exceptional men who disable mines. I can’t make up my mind if it is a story of outstanding bravery or sheer madness! I enjoyed the book and look forward to our conversation. Regular listeners may remember Gregor from when he was a guest on Arts Wednesday exactly 2 years ago, taking about his book Poppy, an account of the opium trade in Afghanistan.

Since we are one day off quatorze juillet – Bastille Day – it would only be appropriate to play music from France.
