ARTS WEDNESDAY 17 FEBRUARY 2010

Bliss Jensen will join me at about 9:45 am for Now Showing and at about 10:10 am Andrew Shapiro will present Part 3 of our new series, New Antiques.

My special guest in the studio is very special indeed: Sylvie Blocher, whose new exhibition What is Missing? opens this week at the Museum of Contemporary Art. Sylvie is France’s foremost video artist and has represented France at the Venice Biennale and the New Delhi Triennale. The title of the exhibition comes from her latest work, commissioned by MCA, as a result of her work over the last 4 years in Penrith for C3West, an innovative art collaboration in Sydney’s west between artists, cultural institutions and business. The result is as absorbing as it is confronting!

You might have guessed that music on the show will all be French!

As always, I look forward to your company.

Sylvia
