Arts Wednesday 17 September 2014
I am very happy to be back with you all after all this time away and many thanks to those who kindly presented Arts Wednesday in my absence. Most of the time away was spent in the UK and that’s what this week’s show is all about.
I have 3 short interviews I recorded while I was away. First we’ll hear from author and curator Giles Waterfield, talking about royal residences. Then historian Jane Ridley, tells us about Berite, Prince and King. Lastly I’ll play an interview I recorded with Nigel Pullman, Chairman of the Committee of Livery Companie, taking about the companies, their history and function in today’s society.
Music will be about royalty and from the UK.
Do keep me company!
