Arts Wednesday 18 May 2016

Andy Bromberger joins us at about 10:40 am for Part 4 of Revolution, Reaction and Romanticism, this week talking about Concert and Performance Practises.

The topic of this week’s 11:00 am interview is the pipe organ and to tell us all about it is Philip Meyer, organist at the historic St Philip’s Church on Church Hill in Sydney, where I recorded our conversation, not to mention the organ itself. What complex machinery!

Music will all be organ music and no, it’s not all church music: did you know that Fats Waller played pipe organ?

Do join me.
