ARTS WEDNESDAY 20 OCTOBER 2010

At about 9:45 m I’ll be speaking to Jonathan James on the telephone for this week’s Now Showing. He is apparently doing a photo shoot, so we’ll find out what that involves as well as hearing about where he’s been. At about 10:10 am, Ed Lippmann will join me in the studio at about 10:10 am for this week’s Sydney By Design.

At  10:30 am I will be very pleased to welcome to Arts Wednesday Jutta Feddersen, noted soft sculpture artist and academic, who has just published her memoirs called Substance of Shadows. It is a really beautiful book and I’m pleased to say, Murdoch Press have kindly donated a copy for one of our lucky subscribers! I met Jutta last week at the gallery in Mary Place, Paddington, where she held an exhibition to mark the launch of the book. She really is an admirable and talented woman and I do look forward to our conversation.

Following on from last week, I will continue to feature the female voice.
