This week we start a new series about Beauty and my special guest for the first episode is Dr Simon Longstaff, Director of the St James Ethics Centre, making a welcome return to Arts Wednesday. Simon tells us what philosophy and philosophers tell us about beauty. My special guest at 11:00 am is Belinda Brooke, Cultural Projects Manager of Creative City for the City of Sydney. Belinda tells us about 113 – 115 William Street, which now comprises 6 live-work spaces for 7 emerging artists. It is a wonderful initiative, combined with others that make up the Creative City project. Music this week will feature some of my favourites, but I have not allowed my self to choose any I have played for at least 2 years. I look forward to your company!
