Jonathan James presents Now Showing at about 9:45 am and we will be talking about The First Warrior we visited together at the Art Gallery of NSW last week. At about 10:10 am I’ll be pleased to introduce you to art consultant Annette Larkin,who will present the new series of Investing in Art.

At 10:30 am my special guest is David McAllister AO, Artistic Director of the Australian Ballet, making a very welcome return to Arts Wednesday for our annual discussion. This year, the topic for conversation is “What makes a dancer?”

This week I will be playing music by Leonard Bernstein, my all-time pin-up boy! I’ve been collecting material for some months now and look forward to playing some of it for you.
