Arts Wednesday 22 February 2017

Ed Lippmann continues with Part 3 of our discussion on thea3b6b163-7df6-47f3-8bfe-389226f5236d vision for Sydney by the Greater Sydney Commission at about 10:40 am.

At 11:00 am I’ll play an interview I recorded with Patricia Azarias, who, with husband, John, has ben responsible for the restoration of the Lysicrates Monument  and the Lysicrates Prize. Now, what’s all this, you are probably thinking! Well, it’s a story that starts with the great Dionysia in ancient Greece, continues in 19th century Sydney and then to today: theatre, drama, stonemasons, monument, drama competition and prize. You will just love this story and love Patricia as well!

Music is from the theatre or from Greece.

Do keep me company!
