At 10:40 am Professor Dr james Franklin will extend our conversation about beauty in Part 5 of the series, talking about Mathematics and Beauty.

At 11:00 am I will play an interview I recorded with Dr Khanh Trinh, curator of Japanese art at AGNSW. Khanh makes a welcome return to Arts Wednesday, this week talking about Theatre of Dreams Theatre of Play. This new exhibition at AGNSW displays over 150 objects including costume, masks, musical instruments and paintings from the No and Kyogen theatre. As I am learning, as with all things Japanese, this tradition is very complex!

Music from the No and Kyogen theatre is difficult for us to listen to, so music will be about theatre, but in the western tradition.
