The new format of Arts Wednesday means that we will no longer review exhibitions on a weekly basis. However our 6 – part series will continue and Ed Lippmann joins me at about 10:40 am for a new series of Sydney By Design.

Mitchell Librarian Richard Neville makes a welcome return to Arts Wednesday at 11:00 am to tell us about a splendid new acquisition: over 700 drawings and watercolours of native flora and fauna dating back to the earliest days of settlement in the colony. While some were well known to scholars, many are a revelation!

Music this week will mostly feature new CDs in my collection, some I brought back from recent travels and others were waiting for me on my return.
