This week we hear the last of the Conversations With Philip Drew in the current series of Sydney By Design with Ed Lippmann and this week Philip talks about verandas.

My special guest in the 11:00 am spot is Kate Forsyth, prolific author and this week we talk about her new book: The Wild Girl. This is a fictionalised account of Dortchen Wild,who was the neighbour of Wilhelm Grimm, on of the Grimm Brothers. Dortchen provided him with many of the fairy stories we now know and eventually became his wife and mother of his children. There are just  so many interesting aspects to Kate’s book and I look forward to discussing a few of them.
