Australian premiere of ‘An Index of Metals’ at the SCO

Cult Italian composer Fausto Romitelli described his final work as an ‘electric poem’ that explodes the possibilities of the art form.  For the Australian premiere of An Index of Metals the Sydney Chamber Opera and Ensemble Offspring have joined together alongside recent Helpmann award-winning director Kip Williams to present a bold new aesthetic musical performance.  The conductor and artistic director of Sydney Chamber Opera, Jack Symonds, took a break from rehearsal at Carriageworks to talk to arts reporter Angela Stretch.
