Australia’s contribution to UN discussions about improving the lives of women and girls in the developing world

A few weeks ago the UN Commission on Women met in New York to discuss how to improve the lives of women and girls in developing countries. Julie Mckay, the Executive Director of Canberra based NGO, UN Women Australia, was part of the small delegation from Australia which participated in the meeting. She talked with Mick Paddon on Thursday Drive about the work of UN Women Australia, and what was decided at the UN Commission.
