Chasing Asylum: Human Rights Arts and Film Festival Opens in Sydney
The ninth annual Human Rights Arts and Film Festival, HRAFF to its friends, will open in Sydney on May 24th and run to May 28th with six carefully selected films showing at the Dendy Cinema in Newtown. Thursday Drive’s Mick Paddon talks with the HRAFF director, Malcolm Blaylock about how the national and international films are selected for the festival and about the strong focus this year on refugees and asylum seekers. Malcolm also gives a detailed run down on the films showing in Sydney.
