White Tree Band
The White Tree Band is a group of Sydney’s most talented musicians, who put their own spin on a range of funk, rock and pop classics.
Their 8 piece line-up with full brass section is one of the most entertaining gigs in town, a show where music and comedy collide. This makes for one highly engaging and energetic performance, and not one to be missed!

Demolished Sydney
Curated by Dr Nicola Teffer, the exhibition examines the histories of 13 sites and asks, what are the forces that have shaped our changing city and how do we value and preserve the heritage of the city we inherit?
Demolished Sydney reveals this process of urban evolution through key buildings that have been demolished and replaced. Through fragments salvaged from theatres, hotels and office blocks, alongside stunning photography, artworks and film, Demolished Sydney brings back to life the heritage of a Sydney that is gone but not forgotten.

Freedman New Jazz: The Three Seas
The Three Seas combines elements of Indian folk music with a western style of song form and production in a band of performers from India and Australia.
Raju Das Baul lead vocals and khamak, Deo Ashish Mothey vocals, guitar, dotora, Matt Keegan saxophone, clarinet, harmonium, Steve Elphick double bass, Gaurab Chatterjee dubki and drums.
Presented by SIMA and the Australian National Maritime Museum, with the support of the Freedman Foundation and The Music Trust.

Under the Sun: Reimagining Max Dupain's Sunbaker
Under The Sun will explore views of our culture, our identity and our nationhood through works that will surprise, challenge and enthuse audiences. The artists reflect Australia’s multi-cultural, multi-ethnic and multi-faith nature, enabling a creative and often very personal exploration of the question ‘is there something new under the sun?’
The artists are Peta Clancy, Christopher Day, Destiny Deacon, Michaela Gleave, Nasim Nasr, Sara Oscar, Julie Rrap, Khaled Sabsabi, Yhonnie Scarce, Christian Thompson, Angela Tiatia, Kawita Vatanajyankur, Daniel Von Sturmer, Justene Williams and William Yang.

Join us for a screening of French film 'The Wait - L'attesa', a drama that follows a mother who unexpectedly meets her son's fiancée at a villa in Sicily and the time spent as she gets to know her as she waits for her son to arrive. This event is part of our celebrations for Multicultural March.
