Scott Spark MUSCLE MEMORY Album Launch @ The Vanguard, Newtown
Singer Songwriter Scott Spark launches his sophomore studio album 'Muscle Memory' at Newtown's gorgeous Vanguard theatre.
Following up his 2010 debut 'Fail Like You Mean It', his latest release is being described as having "Grandeur written all over it" (Bree Cohen, The AU Review). His clever lyricism and catchy folk rock production looks to delight both current fans and new ones alike.

No Good With Horses @ Django Bar
Not Good With Horses is a semi acoustic indie folk/americana 4-piece from Sydney, and has been playing locally for almost two years. Latest offering, EP “Sin City Blues” succinctly reflects the times we live in and ranges across some gritty subject matter, from love to war and back again, with the title track and current single a wistful treatise on love lost and found, to a backdrop of sighing fiddle & crying steel guitar.

Aquabumps Gallery @ Bondi
When long-time surfer Eugene Tan began emailing photos of the waves and surfers of Bondi Beach to friends some 14 years ago, he had no idea his little project would evolve to anything as big as Aquabumps. Being displayed in an intimate gallery setting, the artwork is a beautiful capturing of Bondi's magical coast.

Back in the Dark @ St James Church
Bach in the Dark is a series of unconventional classical music concerts featuring ’cellist Rachel Scott and a changing roster of guest artists. The series is held in the crypt of St James church, providing an intimate and unique listening environment ideally suited to an engaging and accessible chamber music experience.
Programme includes works by J.S. Bach, Bruch, Fauré and others.
A complementary glass of Simon Whitlam wine or non-alcoholic beverage is available to all patrons.

TRACES by BROOKE CARLSON @ Alpha Gallery
Sydney born artist, Brooke Carlson’s first solo exhibition TRACES, explores performativity in drawing, and the process of mark making endured through this. Here, her practice investigates the relationship between the hand, the drawing material and the paper. Working across interdisciplinary mediums Carlson explores how Surrealist and Abstract Expressionist techniques of automatic drawing can be reiterated in a Contemporary context.
