Green Street Markets
Rotary South Sydney has launched a unique and exciting Fresh Food and Artisan Market at Joynton Park in the Green Square Precinct
The weekly markets are held each Saturday from 9am to 2pm and include fresh produce, great food and innovative products. We will be holding events for kids, live music and other entertainment as the weeks progress.
The Green Square community is growing rapidly and the markets will provide an opportunity for residents to come together and get to know each other in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
Glebe Street Fair
Celebrating the event’s 31st year, Glebe Point Road will come alive for a celebration of food, artists and a remarkably diverse entertainment schedule packed into a single day.
It is going to be more than 200 unique and distinctive stall holders for the annual fair, some coming from as far away as Byron Bay and Perth to be part of Sydney’s oldest and biggest street festival. There’ll be vintage fashion, exotic coffees, gourmet food and arts & crafts of all kinds, bringing an atmosphere to the neighbourhood that has made this event famous. Not to speak of Around 30 entertainers on three stages who will keep the festival vibe pumping for the day.

Sydney Photography Walks
Join a world famous DJB Photography walk in Sydney! This is your chance to got to know the best photographic hot spots in Sydney by professional photographers.
The photography walks are run three times a month, the maximum group size is only eight and the walks last for two hours. You can bring any camera along, even your smartphone. How great is that?
When: Each Saturday and Sunday until August 2015.

Do like a dugong!
Launching this spring, visitors will use their senses to explore the mysterious underwater world of Dugongs in the new Dugong Island at SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium. The brand new experience allows guests to walk amongst an underwater shipwreck while admiring the only pair of Dugongs on display in the world.
Did you know Dugongs are closely related to elephants? Or that they can live to over 75 years old? And that long ago sailors once thought they were mermaids? These are just some of the fun facts visitors will learn in the new interactive Dugong Island experience. For an even more interactive and exclusive experience, Dugong Island will also give visitors the opportunity to dive into the world of Dugongs and feed Pig and Wuru!

Tiny Stadiums Festival
Erskineville’s annual Tiny Stadiums Festival returns for its 7th year, bringing to the streets some of Australia’s most compelling emerging artists, site-specific performances, live art and installations.
This November Tiny Stadiums comments on contemporary life in Erskineville and beyond. Featuring works both poignant and captivating, each local and interstate artist has been hand-picked for their unique perspectives on politics, family life, property, subcultures and nightlife. The private is political.

Black Gold Exclusive Vinyl Fair
On Saturday the 22nd of November community radio station Eastside Radio 89.7 FM will again host their bi-annual Black Gold Exclusive Vinyl Fair at new venue The Civic Hotel in the city.
An assortment of over 8,000 rare and exclusive records will be on offer, hand picked by meticulous music collectors and a range of Australian DJs including The Vinyl Junkie, Fuse Records, Revolve Records, Gian Arpino, Nick Toth plus new vendors Abel El Toro, Dean Dixon, Katalyst and many more.
