Peru Amazónico: International Touring Photography Exhibition
Peru Amazónico will exhibit a number of contemporary Peruvian artists across three levels of Customs House. Their photographs document the Amazonian rainforest and its Indigenous people. This pictorial essay curated in collaboration with the Consulate General of Peru in Sydney, considers issues of ecology and representations of indigeneity. The images, recorded by some of the best photographers in Peru, offer a window into an ancient way of life. Their visions filled with wonder, respect, awe and joy, reflect a unique indigenous perspective and relationship with nature and remind us what a positive effect this can have on our development as a society.

Towards natural wine – a tasting and discussion of “Natural Wines”
The natural wine scene has been rattling the cage of the conservative Australian wine scene for the past few years. Join Mike Bennie as he leads you through a tasting and discussion of organic, biodynamic and minimal intervention wines. He’ll help you understand the different processes, flavour and textures and get you talking with confidence about all the different definitions. Most of all, he’ll ask the big question – if we are making decisions about where our food comes from, why aren’t we doing the same with our wine?
