Beached – Presented by The Griffin Theatre

images-2

Arty is huge. Ginormous. At over 400 kilos, he’s the world’s fattest teenager, in desperate need of a gastric bypass to save his life. Big questions loom as he is followed by a reality TV crew.

Unapologetically satiric, Beached is also the moving story of a man imprisoned in his own body. Featuring an all-star cast direct

ed by Shannon Murphy, this award-winning new Australian play lays bare the mercenary nature of reality TV and our insatiable appetite for human misery.

What: Beached

When: Opening show, 19th July

Where: SBW Stables Theatre, 10 Nimrod Street Kings Cross.

Cost: Adult: $49, Student: $38
