Burlesque at the Library
As part of the ‘Bites after work’ sessions, this Thursday, burlesque artist Danica Lea takes you through a workshop in the art and technique of tease; burlesque. This one hour workshop is part of the Mardi Gras Festival and bookings are essential. For more information or to book phone 9246 4530.

Ascella Wines at Sydney Cellar Door, NSW Wine Festival
This weekend between Friday and Sunday, head down to Hyde Park South for the NSW Wine Festival. Showcasing some of the best produce, foods and wines of our fair state, this is a great chance to try some delicious new drops. Francis Bacon: Five Decades
‘With painful beauty Bacon lays bare the struggles of the human condition.’
This is the last week to see the Francis Bacon exhibition at the Art Gallery of NSW. His paintings have been described as ‘gutsy, controversial and unforgettable’.
Surveying Francis Bacon’s life and work, this is the first major exhibition in Australia of rare works by the master of post-war British art. The exhibition showcases over 50 paintings and covers five decades of his career.
