2011 Gluten Free Festival
Presented by the Coeliac Society of NSW, the Gluten Free Expo is Australia’s largest annual gluten free show.
Those who suffer from the coeliac disease – approximately 1 in 100 people – cannot tolerate any food containing gluten. The only way to manage the disease is to stick strictly to a gluten free lifestyle. Gluten is a protein component of wheat, rye, barley and oat, so it can be a tricky disease to manage, as much of the food we eat is made from, or contains those products.
This Public event showcases a wide variety of gluten free products, available to purchase and taste.
When: Event: Friday August 26 – Saturday August 27
Where: Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park
Cost: Free
