Brazil Film Festival 2013

Experience the images, sounds, scents and flavours of Brazil through cinema.

Brazil Film Festival brings us the best and most awarded of Brazilian film productions.

Milk Milk Lemonade

Emory is an 11-year-old boy who lives on a farm with his God-fearing, chain-smoking Nanna, his best friend is a depressed giant chicken who wants to be a stand-up comic; his favourite pastime is choreographing ribbon dances; he ‘plays house’ with Elliot, the 12-year-old pyromaniac and his greatest ambition is to be a contestant on a TV talent show.

Underlying the comedy is a real anger directed towards the homophobia, bullying and small-mindedness that constitutes daily life for many young gay people.

Sydney Mardi Gras Parade

Join in with the glitz, glamour, sparkles and rainbows for Sydney’s annual Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade and help celebrate the diversity of our community.

This is the largest event of its kind and the parade attracts visitors from all over the world.  To get a good viewing point along the street you may need to get there early.

Eveleigh Artisan Market

Eveleigh Artisan Market is a chance to see some of the diverse and creative work from local emerging and contemporary designers.  The 70 stalls display a range of ceramics, furniture, art, jewellery, plus much more.

Dreams in White is a gripping thriller about secrets and double lives.  When Michael Devine goes missing his wife and daughter fear the worst.  As time passes, pieces of the puzzle start coming together to reveal a scandalous secret.

This production is the Australian premier of this new play by Duncan Graham.
