The Outsider Art Show is going to be on just across the road from the Eastside Radio station and is sure to be one of a kind, "Wolf&Kitten" is a creative partnership by two artists who together meld music and gritty visuals with sophisticated forms to bring you art in all its degradation and glory.

W&K is about the power of collaboration and trust in the instinct to create and their show next week is all about what can be created. In this part pop-up, part exhibition, this is a one-day-and-night featuring gritty paintings and a matching soundtrack to send you on an experience that will be different from your normal art exhibition.

The two artist who make up "Wolf&Kitten" come from different art backgrounds, as Dolan is the street artist and Juliette is a national art school graduate so when you combine the two you are left with colourful and expressive, beautiful and chaotic art pieces expect a mishmash of paint, collage and intricate geometric details, "Wolf&Kitten" paintings are as wild as they are finely crafted.

Light the Night

On October the 9th people all across Australia will come together to walk to remember and support those who have had cancer come into their lives. The Light the Night walk in Sydney will be happening in the Eastern suburbs down in Bondi.

Light the night is an opportunity to help raise money to fund research and support Australian families affected by blood cancer. With more than 60,000 people living with leukaemia, lymphoma , myeloma or a related blood disorder, and another 34 people are diagnosed every day it is a given that as much funding as possible needs to be done.

The idea of the walk is to light lanterns as a sign of support and raise money, there are different coloured lanterns for different reasons such as gold - to remember a loved one, white - for your own blood cancer journey and blue - to show you care. A short walk will follow along the beach to reflect the community united in hope for a future free of blood cancer.

The money you raise through "Light the Night" will enable the "Leukaemia Foundation" to continue to help Australian families affected, most importantly your presence will also lift the hearts of our nation as you walk on one night across Australia in aid of a great cause.
