Lindesay Christmas Gift Fair
If you are looking for a special gift for family members or friends this Christmas come along to the 2012 Lindesay Christmas Gift Fair at Lindesay, at Darling Point. Shoppers will discover a treasure-trove of Christmas gift ideas among the many stalls and have the chance to inspect the stately 1830s home and gardens, which are usually only open to the public one day a month. Admission to the fair is $5, with all funds raised going towards the upkeep of the magnificent National Trust property. A complimentary shuttle bus will be in operation during the Fair, running from the Edgecliff Railway Station Bus Interchange to Lindesay House and return 10am-12noon, and 1pm-4pm each day.

The Opening of Gardner’s Lodge Café in Victoria Park
The City of Sydney is delighted to unveil the new Gardner’s Lodge Café following a major restoration, which recently won the Office of the Valuer General Heritage Award from the Australian Property Institute NSW. Gardener’s Lodge will serve a modern Australian menu with a bush-tucker twist and provide on-the-job training for indigenous Australians. The Victorian Gothic sandstone building is one of the oldest in Sydney, set in beautiful Victoria Park, which has a rich Aboriginal heritage.
Come and join us celebrate the opening of this stunning café, with free morning tea and entertainment!

Rare Gems in Paddington
Come along to the St. Frances of Assisi Church in Paddington on Sunday, 2 December to enjoy an afternoon of ‘Rare Gems’ presented by the Woollahra Philharmonic Orchestra.
The Orchestra, conducted by Joanna Dimitris and featuring trumpet soloist, Matthew Winnel will showcase rarely heard works from Vaughan Williams, Haydn, and Gounod in one of its last performances of 2012.

Storytime at Vaucluse House Tearooms
Come along to this pre-school interactive storytime set in the beautiful Vaucluse House Tearooms.
