Hijinks Halloween Party
When: Thursday 30th, 6:30pm.
Where: Sydney Aquarium, 1-5 Wheat Road Aquarium Pier Darling Harbour
HIJINKS will return to Sea Life Sydney Aquarium for Sydney’s only underwater Halloween Party on 30th October 2014.
At each HIJINKS event, guests are challenged to take on the role of buccaneers and search for sunken treasure throughout the Aquarium’s underwater tunnels, interacting along the way with conservationists and Sydney’s hottest emerging artists and comedians.
John Bell exits stage left, pursued by fanfare
25 years ago, John Bell founded the Bell Shakespeare company and this month has announced his imminent (end of 2015) retirement, leaving behind a legacy of literary advocation, education and great theatre.
Halloween on the Rocks
When: Friday 31st October
Test your nerves on a ghost tour of the Rocks’ most haunted locations. Dress up in Halloween costumes, or use the capes and masks supplied by the organisers. This tour is suitable for ages 14-17, for a more family-friendly tour book a Saturday night walk to explore forgotten laneways that even grandma won’t find too scary.

Every Wednesday at the Cricketer's Arms, a trad jazz quartet, lead by young Jazz prodigy Arthur Washington, will be entertaining the locals.
Sydney Open 2014

Now in its tenth year, Sydney Open has developed a bit of a cult following, presenting a once-a-year chance to get behind the cordons at Sydney's historical and architectural treasures, and discover hidden gems. This year over 50 venues will participate, with tours by architects, historians and experts taking you beyond the surface and into the backstories of each place.
