Good Neighbourhood BBQS

The Good Neighbourhood BBQs are a partnership between the City and NSW Police and involve a series of informal events in the City’s parks and reserves including a free BBQ, live music, children’s activities as well as a wildlife show with Feature Creatures.
The events aim to encourage people to hang out with and meet their neighbours and to discuss any crime or safety issues with relevant staff. Everyone is welcome, so feel free to join!

New Breed

2014 marks the beginning of a new partnership for Carriageworks and Sydney Dance Company, to present New Breed – new works by Australia’s most innovative emerging choreographers. Selected by Sydney Dance Company’s Artistic Director Rafael Bonachela, upcoming choreographers will be given the unique opportunity to work with members of Sydney Dance Company, developing new work with some of the best dancers in Australia.
