Day and Night on the Reef
Experience the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef at Sea Life Sydney Aquarium’s brand new exhibit, Day and Night on the Reef. Set entirely on the reef as it transitions through night to day, it is the largest Great Barrier Reef exhibit in the world.
The new exhibit uses state of the art technology to deliver a totally unique, interactive experience. Walk across bioluminescent beaches, journey through jellyfish garden and witness the phenomenon of coral spawning on the glowing night time reef.
As the sun rises, travel through the heart of a busy and brightly coloured day time reef to meet our new marine turtles. In an interactive show, encounter a nesting turtle on an indoor beach and help guide baby hatchlings safely into the seas. Along the way you’ll meet marine turtles, reef sharks and saw fish, as well as over 500 other beautiful sea creatures and tropical fish. Guests will also learn about the changes we can make to protect Australia’s greatest natural wonder.

Discover the giants of the ocean
Come eye-to-eye with the world’s largest animals!
Dive into the immersive Whales | Tohorā exhibition that brings the incredible world of whales to life at the Australian Museum.
Presenting the latest cetacean research from the international scientific community, Whales | Tohorā explores the diversity, biology and adaptation of whales to life in our oceans. The exhibition celebrates the role of whales in South Pacific Islanders’ rich cultural history.

Be enthralled by the sheer variety, size and scale of whale skeletons, including the 18m skeleton of a Bull Sperm Whale
Walk through a life-sized heart of a Blue Whale
Hear a symphony of whale noises in the sound chamber

Roboters’ sustainable superpowers are unmatched in this half day workshop full of fun individual and team challenges.

Whales and other sea creatures need your help! Plastics are polluting the oceans and we need you in charge of programming LEGO WeDo Robots to collect and sort rubbish before it enters our waterways.
Kids will construct their own models and use code to bring them to life!
Presented in partnership with Code a Bot, empowering kids to ask insightful questions, explore technology boundaries, and confront conventional ways of thinking.

Destination Sydney: Re-imagined
Showcasing artworks responding to the theme of Sydney as a destination for creative endeavours.
Destination Sydney: Re-imagined is the 2nd exhibition in a series of collaborations between Manly Art Gallery & Museum, Mosman Art Gallery and the National Trust’s S. H. Ervin Gallery. It follows in the footsteps of the jointly presented and highly successful exhibition, Destination Sydney in 2015. Destination Sydney was unprecedented in its achievement and showcased artworks responding to the theme of Sydney as a destination for creative endeavours.
Destination Sydney: Re-imagined returns to the subject of Sydney as a source of inspiration for so many artists who have been drawn to its unrivalled landscapes. The exhibition will present the work of nine major Australian artists whose contributions have become synonymous with the landscape of Sydney.
Artists at Mosman include Roy de Maistre, Robert Klippel and Michael Johnson.
