YOLK Folk Night

YOLK folk

The YOLK collective is putting on a cosy folk night by candlelight this weekend. Support local Sydney bands such as Karla Nader, Georgie & Friends, and Arbori whilst contributing to charity. Food and a warm atmosphere are provided but tickets are limited so book now!

Me and My Shadow

Told in the form of a visual poem for children, the Seymour Centre presents this quirky story of a girl who befriends her shadow. Ideal for children ages 4 – 8, the performance uses paper, light, shadow and music to explore the joys and frustration of friendship.

This week is the final week of SafARI 2012, the unofficial fringe event showcasing Sydney’s most innovative and exciting up-and-coming artists. The pieces found around Sydney include mediums such as sound, performance, installation, sculpture, painting, photography and new media.

My Human Family Photo Exhibition

dogAiming to raise awareness for abandoned and neglected dogs, the My Human Family community project features photos and stories of rescued dogs and their family. Being shown at Pine st Creative Arts centre, the exhibition  hopes to encourage others to consider welcoming a rescued four-legged-friend into their family.
