Woollahra Festival
The Woollahra Festival is a diverse program of shows, talks and community events that celebrate world music and visual arts, as well as provoking discussion on contemporary ideas and global issues.
Produced entirely by local residents, this year’s line up will showcase a variety of music and dance; in addition to martial arts, belly dancing, tai chi and other various events. There will be discussions on a variety of contemporary issues and literary works. And this family-friendly event also caters to the kids with hula hooping, magic and acrobatics.

Glebe Street Fair
Taking place on Glebe Point Road this annual event has something for everyone. There will be a variety of activities available and several stages that cater to live music acts and an array of different dancing performances. There will also be street acts as well as international food stalls and kids rides.

Sydney Film School Open Day
Open Day is an opportunity to meet the teachers, students and graduates, ask questions and find out more about the courses, how to apply, the school’s philosophy and daily life. There will be tea, coffee and cupcakes on offer as the school opens it’s doors to answer the questions of the curious public.

The Author Talks: Caroline Overington
Meet Walkley award winning journalist and author Caroline Overington when she talks about her novel “Sisters of Mercy”. This highly anticipated crime thriller is her fourth novel after she has won several awards for her previous books. This is a great chance to meet the face behind the writing.

Juanita Nielsen Community BBQ
Juanita Nielson Community Centre is having an open day this Saturday. And to celebrate are hosting a ‘Backyard Barbie’ with a free sausage sizzle. Emerging Bondi musicians Manduka and Red will provide the entertainment, performing an acoustic set; and the kids can enjoy the jumping castle, face painting and playground.

Kings Cross Festival

Waverley Public School Car Boot Sale
This Saturday 24th November, Waverley Public School will be holding a Christmas Car Boot Market. You’ll find a great selection of old and new goods, and while you do your Christmas shopping the kids can enjoy the Jumping Castle, join the Leap Frog sports action activities, get their face painted or have their hair sprayed fun colours. When you’re through with your shopping relax and have a coffee and something from the BBQ or the home-made cake stall.
