Surry Hills Festival

Back in Alfred Park, this years Surry Hills Festival will have even more music, kids activities, good food and stalls than you could possibly see in one day. But that shouldn’t stop you from trying! You can dance to some great live bands or soak in the atmosphere in the Chai Tent. There’s something for everyone.

Bicycle Film Festival

As a part of the Sydney Bicycle Festival, The Spokes People present a series of short and feature-length films centred around cycling, screened under the stars. Enjoy the bike valet parking, films from around the world and Sydney food tracks in the night air over a series of six screenings.

Ghostbusters Halloween

Enjoy a Nostalgic classic in the Halloween spirit with this fun film event. The Cremorne Orpheum will be screening the very quotable Ghostbusters in celebration of the holiday. There are prizes to be won for best costume, trivia and trick-or-treat bags to take home. Who you gonna call?

Jurassic Lounge Halloween Special

Not only is it the last Jurassic Lounge for the season but it’s a great line-up for Halloween celebrations. Make some Day of the Dead costumes in the Atrium or get a Zombie makeover. Hear some Halloween Horror Stories from some comedians and play some vintage video-games. Dance your feet off at the silent disco before catching some live music. It’s sure to be a fun-filled night.

Australia’s Silent Film Festival

Starting Saturday, a collection of classic silent films will be screening every Friday and Saturday for the next five weeks! Accompanied by live music and including a light lunch, this festival will be screening classics from Charlie Chaplain to Alfred Hitchcock. Refresh your film knowledge and relive the days of yore.
