Cork in the spotlight – Celtic Tones 7th October 2015

With a pending conversation with Cormac O Caoimh there was no better excuse to showcase the strength and depth of artists, singers, songwriters and musicians from County Cork.
Opening with one of my very favourites, Mick Flannery and following through the playlist with a selection of tracks from The Frank and Walters, Rory Gallagher, Freddie White and of course Cormac.
Gracefully Cormac spoke about his album New Season For Love and The Moon Loses His Memory (and Eileen lost her memory also on trying to recall the second album), the collaboration with William Crowley and his plans to record in the future.
Information on how to obtain further information on Cormac’s music can be found on his website https://www.cormacocaoimh.net

The full playlist can be viewed with the ability to playback by going to www.eastsidefm.or/celtictones

Because we all have a little Irish in us…
