Damien Leith on Between the Covers – 4th May, 2010
News: 11.30am – noon, Tuesday May 4th, Damien Leith brings his adorable Irish accent onto Between the Covers to discuss his latest book; Remember June.
Not every celebrity can make this presenter blush, but Damien is a bit of a cutie with stacks of talent to boot!
Damien gained the ability to star-struck girls such as myself back in 2006 by winning musical reality tv show, Australian Idol.
Although he’s humble, he is impressively confident in his creative abilities and has gained plenty of attention for his talents, though he seems to have remained down to earth, balancing life as a regular bloke with his drive to create music and prose.
Ok ladies, is your heart a flutter too?
More details you ask?
If you didn’t already know, Damien released his debut novel, One More Time, back in 2007. It’s a nice story of courage and survival.
In April 2010, he offered a story a little more courageous, with a heavier plot and more depth of character; Remember June.
In this readers opinion Remember June is an intriguing story that offers hope and takes you on journey, and that is after-all what we seek from a good read, isn’t it?.
The tale takes you down the path of love and relationships, especially the delicate relationship between father and son.
I’d have to agree with the PR spin that “Damien’s lyricism [blends] with deep characters and a potent storyline” to make what is a special novel.
The novel’s themes intertwine with Damien’s newest album of the same name offering readers of Remember June an extra dimension to the story.
I’ll chat more with this Irish born, Australian citizen on Between the Cover, Tuesday May 4th. I hope you’ll join me!
