Delve into Death Magic from Ancient Egypt
Join me, Jane Raffan, Monday 27 July, for a program that takes an in-depth look at the exhibition ‘Death Magic’, currently on show at the Nicholson Museum, University of Sydney.
The Nicholson Museum is Australia’s oldest University museum and home to the largest collection of antiquities in the Southern Hemisphere.
I’ll be chatting with Senior Curator Michael Turner about this exhibition, which explores the many fascinating aspects of Ancient Egyptian death and funereal symbology, mythology and everyday practices.

And the music? We’ll be listening to powerful music that will keep you spellbound!
As always, I look forward to your company, 10:30 to noon.
Jane
