Double Bay opens the door to live entertainment every week with Double Bay Live

The Double Bay Chamber of Commerce along with Blue Beat are bringing the beat back to Double Bay.

“Double Bay Double Play!” is the catch-cry of the return of live music to the middle of Double Bay – Guilfoyle Park (intersection of Knox and Bay St) – under a big marquee every Saturday from 11am – 3pm. Several acts will perform every week.

The event is professionally run and hosted with great sound (and an opportunity to have your show recorded on a multi-track for a small fee). It’s a fantastic chance to sell CDs, add people to your mailing list, play in front of an excellent crowd and to be part of an ever growing event.

Singer/Songwriter Maz Mazak will be hosting the event & Producer/Engineer No Qualms will be spinning tracks in between acts.

Though this is NOT a ‘battle of the bands’ competition, acts will be chosen every three months by the organisers to perform a 30-minute set at Blue Beat and get a live multi-track EP recording mixed and mastered at the City of Nine Gates studio! (www.cityofninegates.com run by No Qualms)
