Eastside Radio Now In Stereo!
Despite being on air for over 30 years Eastside Radio had forever broadcast in mono. That is until now.
As luck would have it, a freak storm last November, in which both our antennas were damaged, allowed the station to finally fix our main and standby antennas and at the same time make the switch to stereo.
This finally happened at 1pm on Wednesday the 5th of February 2014 and first reports indicate the station has never sounded better. That is because the music we play is of the highest sonic calibre and deserves to be heard from left and right channels.
We would like to give special thanks to A.R.F.C., Radio Support Services, RG Systems and the CBF.
