It’s pretty rare that The Sheik plays song dedications to animals, in fact it has only happened once before. “I dedicated Nina Simone’s ‘Trouble in Mind’ for a dog named ‘Trouble’ that had inherited a S#%tload of money when some rich bird died”. It wasn’t money The Sheik was after when he made this nights pooch dedication, “I’d play more of them, all I need is a song name to match up with a dogs…or a cat. That’s good enough for me”. So upon finding Jimmy Little’s song “Molly” during the week, it was time again for a small hound to howl at the radio.
