“I’m all for a party” says The Sheik “but really, an Election Party! Where’s the fun in that?” but people do have them, and others turn up. Guests hang around the TV and chat, it’s not that hard to do Sheik, “Yeah, well I tried watching the coverage, but it was too much to bear, and did they really need to take over ‘Funniest Home Videos’ time slot? That’s what hurt the most”

So the parties went on, and The Sheik played his usual mixed bag, and maybe, just maybe, at one of these election parties around town, they had the TV on, the sound down, and the radio tuned to 89.7 fm, that way maybe, just maybe, The Sheik did turn up.

Now that’s liberal thinking.
