Join an interactive evening and a plant-based feast.

ABOUT THE EVENT:

Be part of a discussion with a panel four of locals sharing their views on this topical question. Alongside the talk and discussion, you can enjoy a delicious, plant-based, 3-course meal prepared by their amazing volunteer cooks. Meet like-minded people and learn how you can transition to a more sustainable Bondi.

Dominic Wy Kanak, Deputy Mayor, Waverley Council whose policy interests include Protection of Community/Native Title/Crown Land & Water, Reconciliation, Constitutional Recognition for Aboriginal Torres Strait Islander Peoples and Local Government, ‘Green’ Sustainability, and Social Justice Advocacy for Our Community’s vulnerable marginalised and isolated People.

Michael Mobbs ‘Sustainable House guy’, author of books: Sustainable House and Sustainable Food.  Is a well-known mobilizer in the urban food growing movement in Sydney.

Anna Linke, a passionate, young voice for the ocean, advocate for waste stream reduction.  Founder of Seaside Scavengers which has reached other parts of the globe  Also received Young Citizen of the Year award by Randwick City Council 2018 and  +  was finalist in the 2018 Women’s Agenda ‘Emerging Female Leader in the Not-For-Profit Sector’

Lance Lieber, founder Transition Bondi, Permaculture Teacher, innovative Landscaper and force for good in the local community
