Edouard Bronson – Intimate

IntimateFrontEastside Radio’s Album of the Week is Intimate by Edouard Bronson.

Best known for his time performing with triple Aria award winning group Monsieur Camembert, Edouard Bronson has returned with his own solo album.

Co-produced with Julian Curwin (The Tango Saloon, Darth Vegas), Edouard adopts the accordion, soprano sax and vocals on Intimate and is joined by Daniel Pliner on keyboards, John Maddox on bass guitar, Jess Ciampa on percussion and Danny Heifetz and Lucas Volfneuk on drums.

The result is a sound that straddles a jazzy gypsy road between Paris and Moscow. Lyrics vary between English, French and Russian (Edouard has spent extensive time in each countries which adopt these languages), and there is a somewhat nostalgic feel throughout with sounds that Edouard testaments to have been inspired by classical composers. The whole album is affectionately heart-warming and highly appealing.

You can catch Edouard and his band for their album launch this Thursday 18th April at the Camelot Lounge in Marrickville, doors open from 7pm!

Intimate is an independent release by Edouard Bronson. For more information go to eddieplaysforyou.com
