Emma Pask at Randwick Town Hall
The talented Australian Jazz vocalist, Emma Pask will be performing at Randwick Town Hall on the Friday 17th November. She is well known for her work with Big Bands and her continuing collaboration with the multi instrumentalist James Morrison.
Award winning vocalist Emma Pask has firmly established herself as one of Australia’s favourite voices in Jazz. Recently nominated for an ARIA award for Best Jazz Album of the year Emma has toured to sell out shows nationally and internationally throughout 2016.
She learned to love jazz through her parents who played Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan and Carmen McRae, among others and her performances are reminiscent of the classic era of jazz, when swing was top of the charts. Her phrasing is supple and sophisticated, her dynamic variation astute and her diction exceptional.
Emma will delight with her storytelling, swinging jazz standards, upbeat Latin rhythms and original material – all wrapped up with some raucous grooving blues. Don’t miss this amazing talent!
