Ephemera and The Other Art Fair – Arts Monday

Ephemera Quartet play space music – original compositions and improvisations inspired by outer space. Ephemera comprises – Keyna Wilkins, compositions, flute, piano; Elsen Price, double bass; Will Gilbert, trumpet; and Carl St Jacques, viola. Each member brings their own unique voice to the ensemble drawing from a multitude of musical backgrounds, combining to create a distinctive soundscape that organically reacts to stellar concepts. Universe and Universality. The music is complimented by projections of space probe footage. Merging the sound worlds of jazz and contemporary classical, and set to real space sounds, Ephemera is an original sonic experience.

Musician, Keyna Wilkins is my guest today.
