CHALLENGING THE NOTION OF ACCEPTABLE WITH FILM MAKER DAMIEN LAY.
With a career in the film and television industry spanning over 20 years, Damien has worked in almost every facet of film and television production. As a filmmaker, Damien looks for projects with challenging ideas and concepts that seem impossible to achieve. In a chance meeting Damien met the reclusive Colin Murray; when Colin said he drew erotic art that other people might consider pornographic, Damien was immediately intrigued. He decided right there and then to make a film with Colin that challenges the acceptable notion of what constitutes art.
Production on the film began the very next day. For more information on Semi Colin
TWO OF AUSTRALIA’S MASTER STORYTELLERS….
Have come together to construct a gripping political and historical thriller that spans over 3000 years. Bloodline is the first collaboration from prolific author Alan Gold and award-winning screenwriter Mike Jones, and is the first of three stunning books from their anticipated Heritage trilogy.
Bloodline weaves through two intricate and pacey storylines which are millennia apart, but linked by a common setting: Jerusalem. The front story, set in modern Israel, opens with a radicalised Palestinian youth named Bilal who has been shot during a botched terrorist attack. Bilal’s life is saved by a young Jewish surgeon, Yael Cohan, who discovers while saving his life that her DNA is identical to Bilal’s and that they are in fact linked by blood.
