Forever French: Interview with Mélanie Pain, the Nouvelle Vague’s voice

You may not know her name, but you surely know her voice. Mélanie Pain is one of the voices of the Nouvelle Vague project lead by Olivier Libaux and Marc Collin, two little geniuses of the 80’s reinvention. Just before their gig in Sydney, Gabrielle recorded an interview with Mélanie: if you want to hear it, just tune up on Forever French Wednesday 11th between 8 and 9.30 pm.

Melanie Pain and the collective Nouvelle Vague

Nouvelle Vague are in Australia to be part of the Sydney Festival and they will present their bossa nova covers of 80’s songs in Sydney the 19th of January. They share the stage of the Keystone Festival Bar with Moriarty, a Parisian band with eclectic influences from blues to Irish music.
